Prayer to the Shoulder of Jesus

"I had a very deep wound on my shoulder, upon which I carried my heavy cross; that wound was the most painful of all. Men do not know of it. Honor this wound, then, and I will do EVERYTHING you ask of me for its sake." O Beloved Jesus, meek Lamb of God, even though I am a wretched and sinful creature, I adore and venerate the wound caused by the weight of Your Cross, which, by tearing open Your flesh, laid bare the bones of Your sacred Shoulder—a wound over which Your sorrowful Mother took such pity. I, too, O most beloved Jesus, have compassion on You, and from the depths of my heart I glorify You and thank You for this painful wound on Your shoulder, upon which You chose to bear Your Cross for my salvation. Ah! For the sufferings You endured, which increased the enormous weight of Your Cross, I beg You with great humility: have mercy on me, a poor, sinful creature; forgive my sins and lead me to heaven along the way of the Cross. (Recite 7 Hail Marys and pray: “Most Holy Mother, imprint upon my heart the wounds of Jesus Christ Crucified.” Indulgences of 300 days each time.) “O Most Sweet Jesus, be not my Judge, but my Savior.” Indulgences of 100 days each time.
